A little over 30 years ago, we began providing homes for the wonderful folks in this area. We began in the modular home business and then a couple of years ago, we expanded our business to include the designing and crafting of log-sided buildings. These cabins are designed with our customers' dream
s and desires in mind.
All Cabins, Etc. homes are constructed of 2 x 6 exterior framing and 2 x 4 enterior walls. Wall, floors, and rafters are all built on 16" centers.
The flooring in each Cabins, Etc. structure consists of 2 x 10 double rim floor joists and is finished with 3/4" tongue and grooved plywood decking.
Cabins, Etc. uses 2 x 8 rafters and each roof is finished with 29 gauge metal roofing or with a roofing material to fit the desires of your dream home.
Wall and ceilings are insulated with R-19 insulation and standard wiring is to 2008 National Electrical Code.
